
Men's Soccer Adds Four to 2013 Squad
March 21, 2013MARS HILL, N.C. – Head men’s soccer coach Gary Hamel has announced four signees that will join the 2013 squad. Serge Kebbah, Reiss Garwood, Forrest Gaskin and Connor Talbot have committed to play soccer at Mars Hill College.

Serge Kebbeh is a transfer from Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. He is a Swedish and Ivory Coast citizen. Coach Hamel stated, “Serge is a big strong forward who has good technical ability. Serge will bring some toughness to our attack and set pieces.”
Reiss Garwood, is from London England. He comes to Mars Hill from South Thames College. “Reiss is a very mobile midfielder with very good technical ability. Reiss will help to solidify our midfield and attack”, said Hamel.
Forrest Gaskin, will be a freshman and hails from Athens Ga. He attends Madison County High School and plays for the Atlanta Spurs Club Team. “Forest is a hard-working midfielder who is technically solid. Forest will come in and compete for time early in the preseason”, commented Hamel.
Connor Talbot, will be freshman coming from Middle Creek High School, He plays for the CASL soccer club. Hamel stated, “Connor is a very technical goalkeeper. He will come in and bring a good foundation to our goalkeeping core”.
Mars Hill College is a NCAA Division II institution and a member of the South Atlantic Conference. The league is comprised of schools in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
