MEN'S SOCCER RANKED FOURTH IN SOUTHEAST BY NSCAA

MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is ranked fourth in the Southeast Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll that was released today. The Lions are unranked in the national poll but are receiving votes.

Mars Hill (9-4-1, 5-2-1 SAC) tied Carson-Newman, 0-0, in double overtime last week. South Atlantic Conference opponent Anderson tops the regional poll and is ranked No. 6 in the country. Coker and Flagler are second and third, respectively, in the region. Lees-McRae, Montevallo, North Carolina-Pembroke, Limestone, Barton and North Georgia round out the top 10. Mars Hill has defeated Limestone and North Georgia but lost to Anderson.

The Lions host Lincoln Memorial on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
